WELCOME AND A FEW DATES READ PLEASE
First off I would like to thank you all for helping out with this venture, please forgive me but I am going to take my time on this cause I want to be thorough. I will also admit that I am not a good romance writer. Not all of these stories will have the fairy tale ending because that gets too predictable and also I don't think that it is in the characters that are already predefined in the story.
My plan is to have ALL OF YOU to be ACTIVE partners in this so if you have something to say SPEAK-UP. I always listen to other ideas and options. I will also do my best to accommodate your wants and ideas. More than likely I will be bugging you all to help me figure out what the guys would do or even your characters given a certain situation. Please fill out the Bio Sheet that Samijo made for RPG if you do not have it let me know and I will see about rustling up a copy for you. (Fill this out as Detailed as you can, cause I LOVE detail) Also fill out the personality profile so I can get an idea on what your characters personality is like. I will post these so that you can tell me if they are right or not. I will post the personality profiles I have made up on the guys. I did my best to pick the one that most fit the guys. These two things I will need by NOVEMBER 20th, 1998.
That way I can have four days to peruse the profiles before starting which I will begin on NOVEMBER 24th, 1998. This date is what I picked cause it is also the day I turn in a huge writing assignment for class ARGH.
TECHNICAL STUFF FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT TO KNOW
Approximately I am planning on working on this about 11.5 hours a week. With about an out put of 5 pages per session give or take two pages. With this schedule if it works out properly in all truth the ROUGHEST draft should be ready by January. Give me til February (End of) Just to be nice on this draft. I personally say Christmas of 1999 just to be extremely pessimistic and give me plenty of time for screwing up and actually trying to get a life.
After the Roughest draft is put together I will send you each a copy of it so that you can all tell me what you think.
YOUR JOB be CRITICAL. Watch for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, character problems, factual problems, everything please cause this is your story as much as mine and I want us all to look good.
When I get these critiques back I will re edit the story and incorporate you notes concerns and everything and then create the second draft. With the completion of this I will find someone outside of the seven of us to critique the story and tell me what they think. Having them do the same thing that you did to the first draft.
Then I will re edit again and do the finishing touches before adding pictures and sending you all via email the final copy. Sorry unlike Jourdy I have no money to pay for paper, binding or shipping and handling. Sorry again for this. I don't know maybe by the time it is done I might be able to or maybe it won't be worth it who knows. For now hard copies are a negative.
The finished product is estimated to be about 260 pages. The average size of a novel, although it might end up being longer due to the amount of characters involved.
